OK so I'm absolutely in LOVE with this scarf:

but there is no way I am paying $200 for it!  I want to make it but I have no idea how -- I'm a knitting newbie (I prefer crocheting but this looks like a knitting job)... It says it is a ladder knit--what is that?? It is horizontally striped on one side and vertically striped on the other-- how do I do that?  And if anyone knows how to knit that pattern on the ends as well, that would be AMAZING.

I saw a kid's shirt that was simply too cute, so I had to have it... The biggest size was 6X though and I was hoping my kid brother would fit it, but his tummy sticks out a bit. So now it's mine, and I'm trying to think of ideas on how to make it bigger and longer without ruining it. please help!

I have a little box of these, and I was wondering what they are and what they're used for.  I know what the hook and eye closures are, but what's the little line with loops on the ends?  I figured you craftsters would know

i was planning on sewing on patches using felt onto a hoodie of mine, but then i realized that they might shrink or disintegrate in the wash... i would wash it like any other hoodie in the washing machine. has anyone had any experience with machine washing felt or how that would turn out?

heres my love stinks shirt! i used a white base at first but it bled :[ so i went over the outline in black. it looks a little different in real life, it sort of fades from the outside in, but they're the only pics i have
i was wrestling, and decided that sitting on her would be easier.





theres also a silver glitter heart in the corner but you cant see it cus its a little wrinkled in the pic =[
i'm thinking about adding something to it because i accdientally did it a little offcenter =\

i also realized that a lot of people dont get the sniffing-butt-love-stinks connection thing for a while. boooo.
