This is only the second quilt I've ever made and I made it for my best friend's 21st birthday. I also had my first go at applique to put her name on it.
It took me about 6 weeks and I was still sewing it up until the day of her birthday! All the hard work made it hard to hand it over to her in the end but it was worth it because she absolutely loved it.

I've only just bought my first sewing machine and I've been going to classes. I've made a couple of little things and this baggy hat was one of them. I followed a tutorial that I found on the Internet and made a few little adjustments. I'm absolutely loving learning to sew and can't believe I actually made a hat!
