1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Message/Jewelry Board on: May 05, 2011 11:09:22 AM
I made something similar to this board for myself to hang all my jewelry.  My boyfriend's mother and sister showed interest in one for themselves so I decided to make one for them for Mother's day.

It's made of a coark board with fabric placed over to give it a little bit of a design.  I found the framed one at Goodwill for $4, while the other from Joanns for $10.  The fabric was actually leftover from a panel used for curtain from Ikea which i think i bought for $10 bucks at the time.

Please share your thoughts.  Thanks for looking Smiley

2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Bench made from leftover wood on: April 27, 2011 01:40:50 PM
My boyfriend decided to be crafty with wood this weekend in light of Earth Day.  He made an outdoor bench out of the leftover wood that his grandparents had over at their house.  He did an amazing job with the leftover scraps, including the bamboo.  Below is a link that I hope you'll enjoy.

Please share your thoughts!  Thank you Smiley.

3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Mother's day gifts - Terraniums on: April 21, 2011 09:39:42 AM
Hello.  This is my first time to post on crafster.org.  I thought I'd share these terraniums that I'll be giving for Mother's Day.  It's really easy to make.  I found several tutorials and how-to's online.  You could probably even find some old glasses or vases lying around somewhere your house to make them.  I hope you enjoy.  Please tell me what you think Wink.  Oh, and the mushrooms I made myself.

Thanks for looking!
