Okay, confused. Did mintydawn do the demon or mastisbh? Was she inspired by, or did he paint it? If they live close enough to share ATC's I am so jealous. I don't know anyone near me that draws or sews. I am a lone crafter! Ha!

I believe they live in the same house.  ^_^  I got a message from mintdawn saying that mastisbh opened her mail.

can you buy halloween wrapping paper?  Other than plain old black and orange?
well, i had a a partner who wrapped everything in candy corn themed tissue paper, but it ripped. it looked adorable though!other ideas are to put them in halloween goodie bags and staple them shut if they are small enough. you can also get cute trick or treat bags from the 99 cents store and put it in that and tie it closed. you can also buy plain wrapping paper and make it halloween themed with stamps. oriental trading has alot of items that would be good for this. hope ive helped!

I've been using black wrapping paper, and then spicing it up with halloween themed scrapbooking paper, fun ribbon, burlap, and gauze.  I had some Boo! tissue paper from last year, so I've been using that as well.  I also used a couple of plain gift bags, and put a little scrapbooking paper on it as well to cover up old logos, and it make it more halloweeny.

I'm gonna have to check out the dollar store for trick or treat bags, what a great idea!

yes, but do NOT set them on fire. I learned that from an ATC. LOL!!! Who made the zombies on fire ATC? I feel like I need to give them a shout out.

*gets her box of ATCs and starts looking through them* ah, here it is!  The flaming zombie card is from ... ACK, the back of the card isn't signed!!!  Ok, I will find it.

After much searching through the galleries, the flaming zombie card I got was from Usagi-chan.  "DO NOT USE FIRE!  The only thing worse than undead hordes trying to eat your brain is undead hordes trying to eat your brain WHITE ON FIRE!"

I like the way you detailed that! Looks amazing!

Thanks, gozer!  This theme was the only one I was really struggling on.  I wasn't really sure what I was going to do, since I have nonexistent drawing skills.  Then I found that picture of two guys fighting in my Sherlock Holmes books and I knew I could alter it.

That man is totally not going to make it out alive!
Oh for sure!  He dropped his only means of defense, a gun, which got cropped off the bottom of the picture.  Not that a gun would be too effective.  He needs a chainsaw.

I'm glad you like it CuriousCoffee!  Here is a right-side and upclose pic of the ATC.  ^_^

The picture was originally black and white.  I added watercolors to fill in and black and green chalk to distress the egdges.

I'm new to working with sculpey clay. with your tutorial I'm thinking I'd like to try making some.
That was my first time working with clay as well, and I really haven't done much with it since then.  So, it is a great beginning project!

I have 3 left to do, and I'm done!  I think I took on 13 cards for this swap, between a personal swap and the extra group.  I'm surprised I got the ones I did do out so fast!  I can't wait for all the cards to start pouring in and the gallery to fill in some more!

I got quite a bit done during the long weekend.  I did a lot of wrapping, which I LOVE doing!  Wrapping makes me so relax and happy, its so weird.  All of the items no longer fit into a paper grocery bag.  They are currently in a large paper macy's bag as well as a paper grocery bag.  Anywho, I started the large items for my partner's daughters, and completed a small for the her hubby.

My lovely partner and I live just around two hours from each other, so we're making plans to exchange our packages in person.  She's going to come for a farm visit and lunch.  How fun!
That's so cool!  I hope you two have a great time!
