Hiya everyone!  I'm Jill, I'm 28 and I live in Washington State.  I'm good with nudity and profanity, but please nothing political or religious.  My favorite things to do are reading (mainly fantasy/sci-fi), cooking/baking, playing video games with my husband, and crafting (duh!).

MY THEMES:
-Harry Potter ABC's (Available Letters: L, O, R, T, V, W, X, Y) (I'd prefer the cards to all be vertical with the letter selected being rather larger on the card)
-Halloween
-Trees
-Wine
-Mythical creatures
-Vikings
-Wings
-Fireworks (my hubby is studying to get his pyrotechnics license)
-Your Location
-Mustaches/beards
-Anything from my book list on pinterest

Those are AWESOME!!!!  I want a whole set like you have!  Too cool!  Thanks for sharing!  I am feeling the strong urge to go to the thrift store and find jars so I can make these!
2224  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Bunny Softie on: October 07, 2011 10:38:36 AM
What a cutie!  I love the simplicity of the design.  He certainly looks hugable!

I feel a little guilty because my partner is sending early, but then again, if I rush this swap, another swap that's due earlier is put on the back burner and might end up late, so dammit, no stuffies yet!

Awwww don't feel bad!  I understand needing to get other swaps done first.  I'm currently not needing to finish other swaps, I only have ATCs to do currently, and they are all ones I just claimed for October.  So this swap was my next to work on.

So somehow I went from having a pattern ready to go to being done!  Crazy!  I went to the fabric store after work, came home, had dinner, watched the Lion King with the hubby, and finished my partner's tiny stuffy.  He came out soooo cute!  I wants to keep him!  I might have to make one for myself.  I think I will mail him off tomorrow.
2228  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: SEPTEMBER 2011 ONGOING ATC SWAP GALLERY on: October 06, 2011 06:09:50 PM
I got MORE!!!!

I received from ENGRbyDAY for my tree theme:

So pretty! (and by the way, I loved the envelope it came it!  So cool!  It was a page from a dictionary.)

And from kwality570 for my vikings theme:

teehee!  I giggled for a while when I opened it.

And here is my entire kwality collection.  I freaking love 'em all!  ^_^
2229  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Forfar Bridies with Whiskey Cream Sauce (Say what?!) on: October 06, 2011 03:02:04 PM
Looks very impressive to me & just like the real thing!  Though I should point out that although I live in Scotland, I've never had a Forfar Bridie as I'm veggie!

I think you might like Cornish pasties too as they are similar (though I realise that pasty means something QUITE different the other side of the Atlantic!).

Oooo those pasties look wonderful!  And you are correct, pasties here in the US are something completely different.  But I knew what you were talking about.  lol!

I bet you could still make this without the meat, just up the veggies.

I went to Scotland on vacation and I really didn't sample any of the traditional fare when I was there, well besides haggis at a ceilidh.  ^_^  I apparently had to have it here in the US in a small town on the coast.  If you know Twilight by Stephanie Meyers, Ocean Shores is a few hours South of  Forks, WA where that book takes place and that is where I had the bridie.

Too cute!  I was always curious as to what people made with the bingo cards.  Thanks for sharing!
