1  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Discussion and Questions / Reed Fencing? on: April 13, 2005 11:58:37 AM
Has anyone heard of this? It comes on a roll and is about 6- 6.5 feet tall..

It looks like little tiny peices of Bamboo put together..

We are revamping our gross outdoor patio and what to use this to make a nice background, And block some of our neighboors out..

Does ANYONE know where I can find this?
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: How to make a garter belt? on: April 13, 2005 11:55:02 AM
Hehe I'm a member on the site, I'm Cherries Wink

To make a garter belt like Benni's you'd just have to draft out a design you like, I'd say you'd double layer it and add something for stability, And then add the suspender clips. I know there are suppliers online, As well as ebay.. I'm trying to make myself a garter skirt.. For a photoshoot..
Which looks like this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=11527&item=5380800479&rd=1

Very retro and shiny satin. I'm sure you could use this basic pattern, And then cut out the cutouts like Benni's, And add some contour.

Hope this helps..!

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Corset top * Help needed* on: March 13, 2005 01:27:16 AM

I made this corset top, Yes I know it's not a corset, I just wanted something shiny and black.. With some laces.

I really fell in love with the satin D ring trim.
Well I sewed it onto the back of my shirt... It looks great except for when I movee..

The D rings shift and twirl around. I REALLY like this look.. How do I fix it?
Also.. Since this is a shirt I didn't really want to invest in grommets + a grommet tool.. But would this work better???

I used grommet tape on a previous shirt and it worked okay..

But regular grommet tape is very dull and won't match the satin fabric.. Do they make satin grommet tape??

Here are some other pictures for reference...

Please someone let me know if there is a way to fix this.. I worked VERY hard on this top!!!
