1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / please help me remember this pattern... on: December 19, 2006 08:41:59 PM
Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to make a short scarf/neckwarmer for my aunt for the winter.

There is a pattern I remember thinking would be perfect for her, but now I can't find it!

It was a short scarf pattern that had a large leaf at each end and sort of folded or maybe one end inserted into the other to fasten.

Can anyone suggest a pattern that sounds something like this one, I think it's fairly popular.

Thanks

Hi all,

I came across craftster awhile ago, but haven't posted anything yet.  One day while exploring, I came across Craft Challenge 6 and decided that I really wanted to get involved.

This project is something that I dreamed up one day and have thought about making for awhile now.  Obviously, this challenge inspired me to actually pull it off.  All of the pieces of the double helix are appliqued to the base and the word "jeanome" at the bottom is embroidered on.

I've been trying to resize my pictures, but I haven't quite got it yet.  Hopefully these show up, but in case they don't I'll include the links.

Thanks a lot for looking, and thanks for all the inspiration! I hope to keep posting in the future.

edited to add: Well, I guess I should say exactly what my project IS.  It's a wallhanging; a random piece of art that's a play-on-words as well.  ooooo, I feel so new at this. c.
