1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Birthday Dress - first post on: October 26, 2007 11:23:07 AM
Hey ladies. I love this board. I love all the hips, thighs, tummies and rolls that we make clothes to cover up and in some ways, enhance. Well my birthday was last week wednesday (10/17) and I was going out that weekend so naturally I wanted something orginal, sexy and comfy. All I had was some jersey knit print fabric I snatched up for 2.99/yd and I came up with this. I apologize in advance that I only have one action shot. I was so drunk that night and the other pics show it. LOL. Its a simple halter, 5 basic pieces (2 straps, ruched bodice, A line skirt front and back) It took me about 5 hours to make, from start to finish and I felt so sexy in it. I cant wait to make another dress. Jersey is a b*tch to sew but it loves our curves!!!

Enjoy.
