2  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: How long should I expect for a sale? on: April 08, 2011 12:43:38 AM
I've honestly found twitter seriously useful and I never thought I'd say that. Didn't get much traffic through my FB page so hopped on over to tweet and if you balance the right amount of re-tweet craft bots and people you can get your stuff constantly being pushed out there. Not saying it's worked miracles, I've only had 1 sale via Etsy since I opened 5 days ago but I'm starting to make friends and get a possible response and that I think is the first way foward!

Plus like someone said, tag tag tag! Haha.
3  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: Listing on a Weekday VS Weekend. on: April 08, 2011 12:40:35 AM
Usually you can put a little Google Analytics http://www.google.com/analytics/ thing on your etsy so you can track the best time to list things ect.You have a very cool etsy shop.Nice work.

Having only been open 4 days it's hard for me to really judge but I find I have to judge listings right with the time difference (being in the UK but having a large target audience in the US). Afternoons have been my best so far. Hopefully this time next week I'll have some sort of trend in my head, or so I hope.

Oh thankyou, that means alot! Smiley
And thanks for the tip! I'm learning new things every day, it's great.
