At long last:  Quack's Elegant Eddie Izzard Doll!

A close-up of his face -- complete with headset

Blue nail polish

And even platform sandals!

There is also an awesome wee bottle of "Freshly Squeezed Mango Juice" & "Squeezable Jam", but unfortunatly my craftster gallery space it used up...

Thanks again Quack!  Smiley

Okay, let's see if this works:
Presenting the Art of Swap Angel GirlyGirlBags!
A nifty martini handbag, with an olive stuffie to keep me company and a martini magnet

A (sadly washed out looking) close-up of the martini ribbon trim

And a close-up of the utterly AWEsome lining!

Thanks again GirlyGirlBags!  Smiley Smiley Smiley

The glasses are beautiful!  Are those dragonflies and dolphins I see?

Yep, I made each different -- with varied success.  If this next picture works, you should be able to see all 4: dragonflies, dolphins, party favors, and motorcycles.  My progression from the 1st to the 4th is pretty obvious, as I learned that simple shapes are better, and ultra-long etch times are best; I'm sure glad I read the tutorial here, or the first one would have been an utter wreak!

Also included in the box were some glass olive skewers, a CD of music, two red towels with my first attempts at beaded embroidery (opiate_rose was very tolerant of my experimenting on her, bless 'er), some funny cocktail napkins, and a set of experimental coasters, with cosmos strategically added to postcard images, such as these:

Lesson Learned: E6000 glue and Xyron laminate do NOT go great together!  Only one of the 6 coasters had a wee wrinkle in it before I glued them into place.  The next morning, all 6 were wrinkled -- *soto voce snarl inserted here*  Tongue

First attempt: had to do all kinds of weidness to get these down to size.  Want to post these two first to see if it is even worth messing with the rest of the items.  Wish me luck -- here it goes :
You should be seeing a set of Martini glasses I frosted (my first attempt at etching glass), and a close up of one of them....

76  Aran Knit Afgan - 8 years in the making! in Knitting: Completed Projects by PimpernelSmith on: January 16, 2006 11:55:31 AM

Okay, here it goes: my attempt to post pictures.

If this works, then you should be seeing an aran knit, three panel, afgan.  I used Brown Sheep brand wool -- it is really a pale cream color, with multi-colored flecks in it.  The photos were taken at sunset, so it looks a lot darker in the photos.
