1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Resin & Tile Jewelry- Image Software? on: July 17, 2008 06:48:38 PM
How do you size your images for those really small pieces?
Is there a certian software that can do some basic small images with out making them too blocky.
It would also be great if you can play with the color.

Thanks for your help Smiley
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Where to buy findings for resin jewelry? on: July 16, 2008 07:25:36 PM
I've been reading and reading all the resin post. I've been practicing and I think I'm ready to make photo jewerly to sell at my small whole in the wall shop. SO I'm looking for pendants, bracelets, and rings at WHOLESALE prices so I can mark them up (labor, resin, findings) and not be too crazy expensive.
I've tried-
photojewelrymaking.com
riogrande.com
firemountaingems.com
orientaltrading.com
coveredinclay.com
What I'm really looking for are some cheaper very affordable things to start with and then I can move up to more expensive pieces in sterling.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / a line Help finding pattern on: January 18, 2006 05:34:17 PM
I need to find a pattern, I know I could just draft one, but I need an acutal paper pattern for an A-Line Skirt with a drawstring waist. Sounds easy but I can't find a pattern for it. I'm taking sewing classes and have to have a paper pattern to go by. So please if you have a pattern number please let me know.

Thanks,
Amanda
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / I need help, $$$ Beads on: December 15, 2005 12:38:32 PM
I am trying to find a good wholesale source for beads I've googled it but i keep getting site that aren't really wholesale. I really need to find crystal beads at wholesale price. I'm doing crystal bouquets, but it cost a crazy amount for the beads alone much less getting paid for the labor involved. Please if anyone knows were to get beads at a great price, prefer wholesale (I've got a tax id number).

Thanks so much ladies,

Amanda
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / help finding Coin Trim on: November 28, 2005 01:54:10 PM
I'm trying to make my mom a belly dancing scarf and I bought some packets of coins but I really need them to be on a string or something all ready to sew on.  I've searched and can't find any good sorces, I have a tax id so it would be really great if I could buy them wholesale. But if not that's cool. I already have some very expensive fabric and I just want the coins on some kind of rope that I could sew on.
If you know of some place please let me know.

Thanks,
Amanda
6  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Booth Help Please on: November 03, 2005 02:55:58 PM
My father is an artist and I am the oldest of the 7 kids (23 in 2 days). I purchased my own prints and I do craft fairs on my own. Last year they did so great, this year I've done half or less at the same shows. It's really sucked. I know my display is not the greatest but hey it's better than having them all laying flat on a table. Can you guys give me any suggestions?

The prints are of wildlife and they are black and white.
My boyfriend made this display for me but it weights a WHOLE BUNCH. I had a white ez up style tent but the wind killed it, so I had to get a blue one really quick before the next show.

Any suggestions?

thanks,
Amanda

I'm going to try making some hemp necklaces out of the thick type of hemp. I'm looking for glass beads (large ones) that I can use that are cheap. If anyone knows any wholesale source (i have tax id) that would be so great.

Thanks,
Amanda
