1  First dress- was a curtain in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by imy on: April 09, 2011 11:56:31 PM
Hi all,
This is my first dress.
I bought a nice big curtain (vintage) from the op shop.
How could I pass up that cute print?
It is actually a very light green but the iphone didn't pic it up too well (the flash photo is probably closest to true).
I also got a pattern from there, unfortunately it was cut to a size 6 (which I am definitely not!) so I upsized. I also changed the design as it was not as vintage as I wanted.
Turns out I upsized the pattern a bit much and had to take out two whole panels!
Oh well, it turned out okay in the end.
Here it is on MANdy my duct tape form.
What do you think? Cheesy
