I love the shirt that Syesha Mercado was wearing on the last episode of American Idol and I want to knit a similar sweater. I've seen a nice crochet pattern in the book Not Your Mama's Crochet, but haven't come across a good knit pattern. Anyone have any ideas? Free would be awesome, though I'd pay of course. Picture of Syesha below, hope it works:

4  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: What Makes These Dolls So Ugly? on: December 02, 2007 06:59:22 PM
I like them a lot! I'd buy them for my little ones. If I weren't looking for something to critique I don't think I'd notice anything "ugly" at all... and the only thing that stands out to me when I am in critique mode is that the necks are too long, I think. Or maybe the dress fabric doesn't come up far enough?

Adorable! The only thing I would change if you can is the light purple on the home page that surrounds the main graphic and runs in a line between that and the side buttons. It's not quite in the same color scheme on my browser, and I think having the entire background black would make things pop out even more.

Awesome models and beautiful jewelry!!

I'm loving ravelry! I've been crocheting like crazy! Knitting some too, but I've been really inspired by all of the fun crochet patterns I've found! My name is anjanetteopal.

It's ok, I tend to stick my tongue out a bit when I'm really concentrating. Thankfully no one has gotten a picture yet. Smiley This afghan is absolutely stunning. I'm preggers too and I'd pretty much cry if I got something so beautiful... though that might just be the hormones. Wink
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: New yarn store in Kansas City on: July 01, 2007 02:18:45 PM
Thanks for the heads up! I live in Liberty and the one time I managed to make it all the way to The Studio I could do nothing but salivate over their yummy yarns - there's no way I could have afforded to leave with any. The gas to get there was already enough to feel guilty about. Smiley Nice to have some options.
