1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Bamboo Yarn on: April 01, 2011 06:27:20 AM
I was trying to make a teddy bear for my new niece and I found some bamboo yarn and it was just the softest thing ever!!!  So I started and it is almost done but, while working the ends in and putting it together the yarn started comming apart.  I am wondering if  that is just the yarn, because of the shorter fibers, or if it is my doing.  Also I was wondering if this was in fact a good gift to give to a newborn.  Nothing says loving aunt like a bowel obstruction from handmade gifts.  I figured I would ask the assembled craftiness of the site.
