1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / wood and twine necklace on: May 08, 2006 01:14:09 PM
hello there: this a necklace that i really wanted to make, originally is by BeaG  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=88556.0
but she used crocheted beads, so since the only thing that i know in crochet is just the simple chain, i had to improvise, so  got my wooden beads at wallmart and i just glued twine from the dollard store around the beads, with tacky glue, then i made a long chain with the same twine that later i passed trough the beads and voila!

this is a close up of the beads..
thanks for looking and thanks BeaG for this idea!! Cheesy
