8  Alex's first afghan - and molly mc butter pants in Crochet: Completed Projects by thesillyseemstress on: July 29, 2011 10:13:53 PM
I have a love/ Hate relationship with this blanket. I originally started it with the intent of making a king size afghan for my bed. Well i realized I didn't want those colors in my room, it was to girly for me, so i took it apart and started over . I started making a granny square and didn't know what to do with it.  I started this in march, i realized it would be awesome for my cousins daughter's first birthday. So i added the trim , and the flowers = the cutest blanket for the cutest little girl

This is my cat Molly McButterpants , she felt the need to claim it , and wont move Smiley
Thanks for looking ,
C&C welcome

10  One Skein Scarf in Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller by thesillyseemstress on: June 05, 2011 12:20:33 AM
I made this at work tonight.  I used the One Skein Scarf Pattern in the Stitch and Bitch Crochet Book . This is the first time I followed a pattern, it was a lot easier than i  thought it would be. Im pretty new to crochet, so im proud of my first project. I didn't pay any attention to gauge, but i did use the hook size they suggested . I looks like its suppose to .. so yay !!  Its hot as balls here, so i will have all summer to make matching hat  and mittens . I used Caron Simply Soft in Ocean. I used my camera phone , sorry for the poor pic
CC welcome,
Thanks for looking Smiley
