In all of my scatter brained madness, I neglected taking pics of the cool GDs CraftyMamaBee sent me. 

Consider that rectified.



My favorites are the purple ones - they're so soft and silky.  Are they the Caron Super Soft?  I've put them into a bag of GDs with a similar texture so that they can go into a smaller project together. 

The two different pinks are going into a sweater that I'm currently working on for my daughter.  If I finish it (or even get a good enough start that I don't need to re-do 3 times) I'll post a pic here.

Thank you for the beautiful GDs!  You and your daughter have great taste!

Bad news:  I suck at posting pics.  I'm sorry.  I put all of the GD's I got back into the box and set it on my shelf and promptly forgot about taking pics.  I'll try to do it tomorrow.

Good news:  I sent CraftyMamaBee's GDs out today!  You should get them within a few days.

This is brilliant!  I just started watching The Walking Dead on Netflix and it's gruesome.  These little guys are perfect for it.

So, I had to re-make the little "extra" that I had planned to send along for my partner's daughter.  Why?  Because my 2 yr old convinced my DH that it was really for her and that she needed to take a shower with it right then.  So anyhow, payday is Thursday and that's when I'll be sending.  The package is in the car, ready to go to the post office.

I admit it, I forgot that signed up for this.  However, I before I forgot, I made all of the GDs for my partner.  So, as I type this out, I'm putting them into an envelope and will be taping said envelope to the door so that I see it next time I leave and will take it to the post office.

I hate going back to weave in the starting tail, so I started looping it around the first ch4 twice (I do the looping after I make the joining sl but before I start the ch3 that counts as the first dc) and then crocheting over those 2 loops and the remaining tail as I work around.  It ends up that a 6" stating tail gets crocheted over 3 times.  And I don't have to go back and weave in.  Cause I hate that.

I definitely want to join this one, but I've limited myself to crafting one swap at a time.  I'm a day or two away from finishing up my Granny's Daughters for that "halfa swap" and then I plan to sign up for this one.
