11  Raining on Flowers in Needlework: Completed Projects by Seereeoslee on: June 06, 2011 12:25:44 PM
I know it's a rainy scene, but I hope it brightens your day!  I sent this hoop to my first partner in the Ongoing Hoopla Swap.

The flowers are 3 layers of felt, the cloud is a small bit of fusible fleece, the raindrops are seed beads and silver thread.

A closer view of the rain drops.

The back.  So that  85 years from now our great grand kids can try to puzzle out who the heck "Pearliepie" and "Seereeoslee" are!  Eh, at least they'll know when it's from!

I got my first hoopla today... thank you, Troublet!

This super cute hoop has purple and magenta flowers with french knot centers.  I really like the greenery at the bottom - what kind of stitch is that?

15  Hexagon Flower Toddler Afghan in Crochet: Completed Projects by Seereeoslee on: April 11, 2011 03:39:46 PM
My daughter kept getting lost in the big afghans we have around, so I looked around for a smaller, fun pattern and found this at the Lion Brand website.  http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/90364AD.html?noImages=

It was a little small, so I added 3 flowers to the bottom and it turned out to be the perfect size for her!  She's hiding underneath it here!
