In all of my scatter brained madness, I neglected taking pics of the cool GDs CraftyMamaBee sent me. 

Consider that rectified.



My favorites are the purple ones - they're so soft and silky.  Are they the Caron Super Soft?  I've put them into a bag of GDs with a similar texture so that they can go into a smaller project together. 

The two different pinks are going into a sweater that I'm currently working on for my daughter.  If I finish it (or even get a good enough start that I don't need to re-do 3 times) I'll post a pic here.

Ready for some Harry Potter awesomness?  I received from Amifriends today and she made me this super cool hoop!



He's made up of felt pieces with the details embroidered.  And his own little crocheted scarf!  I love him so much!  Thank you Amifriends!

I received from Megzy818 earlier this week and promptly forgot to post pics.  She picked this from my wist and I love it!  My husband keeps trying to move it to hang on the wall with his fantasy football trophies and framed Magic the Gathering cards.  Yeah, we're geeks.  Which is why we love this Star Trek hoopla.

(Insert 5 minute interlude while I grab the hoop from the wall and run outside to snap a pic.  Apparently I didn't upload pics because I never took any!)

Today, I got two hoops from Nilmerg, the Indecisive!  She said that she couldn't pick which to do, so she whipped up two little hoops: a sweet hoop for my daughter and a lovely one for me!


"Princess Daphne"  When Daffy saw this she couldn't stop saying thank you and giving me hugs.  It's hard to explain to a 2 yr old that it was a gift from a friend all the way in Australia! 


"J"  (My first initial)  I love the vintagey look of this little one.  It's beautiful and beautifully crafted.  I'm going to have to partner up Nilmerg again so that she can make an "M" to match it!

French knots like nobody's business.  She used two different colors (lighter and darker browns) to make it even more awesome.



The stems are slightly raised, but i don't think that there's anything under them.  What is that stitch you used, and where can we learn it?

I received (and photographed) this beautiful set of GDs from Amigurumi4Life forever ago and I don't know why I didn't post pics....  I blame the heat - it's fried my brain.



I think that she and SaralaAnne got together to pic colors because they go together perfectly!

Emo- did you draw the fave characters sign? What did you use to make that? It looks really neat!

I guess it's hard to tell in the first pic, but the guys are cut from paper and have all the little details drawn in. 

Here's a close up of Lassie.  His lapels are separate pieces glued down for a great 3D effect.  I love his little SB PD badge!  Each of the guys is about 5" tall.
