2  Doctor swap in time for new season? in New Swap Theme Ideas by rubylynns on: July 11, 2015 12:07:26 PM
Who would be up for a Doctor swap?  The new season starts on September 9th.  We could have sign ups for a week, ship around August 25th or so and then everyone would have new lovelies for the season premier?

Points up for debate I was thinking 3.  So a large or medium and a small. Extras optional?

I will organize....who would be in?

5  Ponyo Hexie Mini-Quilt in Quilting: Completed Projects by rubylynns on: March 30, 2015 03:40:47 PM
This is my first attempt at quilting and epp, so please be kind =)

I used an 8bit pattern and kind of made it up as I went along. I made all the hexies and then pieced them together.  Then i appliqued it to the backing fabric, quilted around the edges, and used a running stitch to attach the bias tape (since I have no idea how to bind a quilt and I was running out of time.)  It took me much longer then I thought, but in the end I am happy with it as my first attempt at quilting.  This was for a studio ghibli swap I was in on instagram.
