My sister loves Foster's, so I was happy to find this mitten pattern: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=81651.0

I went to my lys to find blue yarn and Manos Del Uruguay had the perfect shade!

Here are two scarves I made for various swaps.

I didn't think I had taken a picture of this scarf from Vogue's Fall issue and my partner never posted one, but I did find one so here it is:

And the other scarf from a private swap with bubbatink:

6  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / Knitting for Noggins - Arkansas Children's Hospital on: September 26, 2006 05:43:24 AM
Hi! My name is Beth and my hometown is Little Rock, but I'm at college in Fayetteville, a city three hours away... Anyhoo, a friend told me about this program that the Children's Hospital is doing.  They are trying to raise 10,000 knitted or crocheted hats for the patients at the hospital and for future patients by November 27.

A baby or child's hat doesn't take much time and I know they would really appreciate it.

Here's a link to the website which includes acceptable patterns, but any babyhat or child hat will do.  I've made a few "Umbilical Cord" baby hats from Stitch and Bitch:

http://www.archildrens.org/volunteer/Knitting_for_Noggins.asp

I think the only restriction is that the yarn can't be recycled material because of infection control issues.

Address of the hospital:
Arkansas Children's Hospital
800 Marshall Street
Little Rock, Arkansas 72202

Thanks for looking!

9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / First Felting Project! Modified bag from Rowan # 38 on: August 02, 2006 02:00:20 PM
I finally finished this bag this week!  I used Lion Brand Wool and instead of using bamboo handles like the pattern called for ( I knew I would never use it if I used them), I made a long strap so I can sling it across my body, messenger-bag style.

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Fuzz the Whale on: March 27, 2006 05:50:26 AM
I made this on the trip back to college yesterday... I have to send him away to someone and I think I'm going to cry when I do...

Meet Fuzz (I know he's not fuzzy, I just like the name):

He loves you:
