A cousin of a friend once added me on facebook just to ask me if i'd knit her son a cable knit (yes, that's right...cable knit!) jumper for the weekend (this was thursday night) i've never even attempted cables...oh yea, no mention of paying or anything.... i knit for free for family and friends but that's crazy. she thought i was being iffy when i said that it was impossible for me to do it in that short space of time and for nothing...then i promptly deleted her

I recently started knitting the squares for this, thanks for the link for the pull overs, i couldn't find it when i started doing the squares!

I think a bit of both,  There is no-one in my family who paints, I've painted and drawn for as long as i can remember, the only thing that i can think of it that i must have gotten into it on my own and enjoyed it to the point where i wanted to get better.
There are some knitters in my family and musicians so there maybe a bit of an artistic gene going on...

I can't remember how i started painting, I've just always done it, but with knitting i say my nan doing it and wanted her to show me how. She taught me when i was about 7, after a while i stopped doing it and recently I've started again.
