51  Re: One Tiny Stuffie Round 7 Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by MeganCrafts on: September 05, 2011 02:28:47 PM
I received from amydice.  I love that we made each other very similar stuffies.

He's so cute.  I love his hair.

She also sent the best extra ever: the Tenth Doctor's sonic screwdriver!

Thank you so much Amy.  Such a great package to come home to.

52  Eleventh Doctor Stuffie in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by MeganCrafts on: September 04, 2011 02:49:58 PM
This is only the second project that I've posted on here, but I'm super proud of it and wanted to share.  I made this for amydice for the Tiny Stuffie Swap.  We're both Doctor Who fans, so this was really fun to make.

He's made of felt.  And he even has tiny fish fingers and custard for the trip.

Elbow patches.

First poster!  Here's the awesome package that I received from theboywonder.  He wrote me notes on origami paper, which I intend to reuse and fold into something awesome.

The first thing I pulled out of the box was this amazing blackwork Dr. Horrible quote.

It's on my mantle with my dinosaur collection.

Next was a bookmark with one of my favorite Mal quotes.  I'm a big reader, so this is perfect and will probably get a lot of use, since I usually use little scraps of paper as bookmarks

He also sent Wash dinosaur magnets.

And last, but definitely not least, are the Jayne and Willow dolls.  (Yes, I have a Power Rangers pillow case.)

I love them and will probably sleep with Jayne all the time.  His little hat comes off.  That made me smile.

Thank you so much for everything, Max.  This package was very very me and I love all of it.

Here are the pictures of my awesome present from jo_mama.

She sent me a dinosaur shirt!

These pictures don't do it justice at all.  The colors and the detail are amazing.  I can't wait to wear it, it fits perfectly.

Attached to the outside of the packages was an asteroid pendant to wear with my dinosaur.  I love it.

She also sent me buttons and a really awesome card.

Thank you so much Jo.

55  Re: I ♥ LOVE ♥ Buttons Swap Round 3 GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by MeganCrafts on: July 07, 2011 04:06:06 PM
Here are the pictures of my awesome stuff from aprilagain.

She sent a button ring, 3 pairs of earrings, and 4 bracelets.  I haven't taken the bottom one in the picture off except to take pictures.

They're all so pretty.

And of course, buttons.

I'm excited to figure out something to use the giant clear ones for.

Thank you again, April.

56  Re: Three Tiny Movie Things Rnd 2 in The Swap Gallery by MeganCrafts on: July 05, 2011 03:17:21 PM
My package from pjr107 came today!!  I wasn't sure if it had because the bf hide it under my book of construction paper.  (I think he's jealous of all of the packages I've been getting lately.)

I'm so amazed at what she made.  It's a bit image heavy.  Sorry!

She sent a really cute card, some M&Ms, and some popcorn, which I've been craving.

And this awesome Don't Panic cuff.

My jaw actually dropped when I pulled this out of the box:

It's a compact!

And if that wasn't amazing enough:

That's not a moon, it's a purse.

The adorable little tie fighters.

Thank you so much Pauline.  You're really amazingly talented.  All of this is going on the mantle of my new apartment once we move in.

I got home from the store earlier today and found not one, but two packages waiting for me.

One was the supplies I need to make amylouwho93's present.
The other was my package from her.

She sent me this awesome hand-drawn card.

And my R2 hoop!!  He's so awesome.  I'm moving starting next week sometime and I'm so excited to start my hoopla wall.

She also sent me tea.  The bf is really excited about this and spent a good 10 minutes smelling it.

Thank you so much Amy.

58  Re: I ♥ LOVE ♥ Buttons Swap Round 3 Signups CLOSED Sendout 7/5 in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by MeganCrafts on: June 26, 2011 08:00:30 PM
I went to an awesome yard sale yesterday and wanted to share what I found there.

There were a whole bunch of the friendship buttons, but I couldn't afford all of them, or I definitely would've snapped them all up.

The pineapples aren't buttons, but I thought they were awesome enough to share.

As far as projects go, I've got something done, something started, and something worked out in my head.

59  Re: M&M Minis Tube Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by MeganCrafts on: April 21, 2011 12:33:29 PM
I received from MaxParadise today!  I love my tube.  I took too many pictures.

(Sorry about the ugly brown couch.)

Close up of the detail.

I opened it up and there was Mario.

Here's everything.

Action shot of the ghost earring.

The earrings are definitely my favorite.  I have Ms. Pacman tattooed around my wrist, so they're prefect.

Thank you so much MaxParadise.

60  Sinclair the Septopus! in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by MeganCrafts on: March 21, 2011 05:18:47 PM
While aimlessly wandering around Craftster (which I do a lot), I found this amazingly cute pattern:

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=180409.0

I decided to make one.  Since my octopus only ended up with seven legs, he's now a septopus.

Then my wonderful partner came up with the idea for the rest of his features.  Introducing Sinclair:

I'm really happy with how he turned out, so much so that I squeed a bit when I put on his hat.  Yes, I squeed at my own project, I'm a nerd.

Sorry about the dark pictures, it's next to impossible to take a decent picture with the lighting in my apartment.
