1  Re: OT Literary Thing and A Used Paperback Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by MeganCrafts on: February 11, 2014 07:04:56 PM
I received from the wonderful honeyd.

First, the book:

This has been on my to read list since last semester, I just haven't had a chance. Now I won't have to find a copy when I find time to fit it in. I'm a bit picky about fantasy, but this was recommended to me by a librarian who recommended another book that I loved, so I'm excited to read it.

And the tiny thing:

Absolutely beautiful The Fault in Our Stars themed bookmark. These pictures really don't do it justice. This is my favorite quote from one of my favorite books, and I've actually been thinking about getting it tattooed on me.

Thank you so much honeyd! I hope you like what I sent you as much as I love these.

Sorry for taking so long to get these posted. Things have been crazy! Also, I really wish that I had a better camera. This package is absolutely amazing and these pictures really don't do them justice.

Anyway, here is what my fantastic partner sent me.

River Song's Journal. The pages are blank, which will be great for craft ideas.

Beaker mini-quilt. It is pieced fabric. I can't wait to hang it up on my wall.

Jiji pouch. So cute.

And last, a Yoda purse. Words cannot express how amazing this is. My jaw literally dropped when I unwrapped it. He has so much character.

Thank you so, so much Christy!!! You are amazing.

I'm a huge jerk and forgot to post pictures. Sorry! It's just about the end of the semester, so things have been a bit hectic.

Eiseldora sent me this fantastic printed shirt.

She also sent me buttons. Rory the Roman immediately went onto my backpack.

Thank you so much Eiseldora!

I feel like a jerk because I just realized that I never posted pictures of the awesome package that Rae-mazing sent me. My life is a bit of a big crazy mess right now.

Calcifer hoop! I love him.

And an absolutely adorable painted Totoro bag. I've been needing a new makeup bag (my old one is too small) and this is perfect. Sorry, the picture is blurry and really doesn't do it justice.

Super cute mushroom lining.

Thank you so much Rae-mazing!!!

I feel like a huge jerk for taking so long to post pictures of the absolutely amazing package that our wonderful organizer and my fantastic partner sent me.

Star Wars bookmarks. There's another one, but it's already in a book somewhere.  Tongue

A Muppet-themed needle book. Kind of perfect because I'm always losing my needles.

An absolutely amazing Princess Bride hoop.

And last, one of my favorite things that I have ever received in a swap: a Jayne hat!!

Isn't it cunning?

Thank you so so much Smeddley!! You are awesome.

Bertrum is really excited to travel again.

I need to take a new picture of him. That one is from before his first LV swap.

Ok, I want to apologize in advance for the crappy cell phone pictures. I can't seem to find my camera since my move.

Bertrum made it home last week, and he brought home some awesome stuff.

New sweater, which is super adorable.

Cincinnati Bearcats stuff. This is going to be my new work mug.

Shirt from the aquarium, cup from the zoo, a gorgeous stone pendant, and chocolates (so not good for my diet).

And this is officially one of the coolest things that I own. A painting by red pandas! They are one of my favorite animals.

Last, but definitely not least, the absolutely amazing scrapbook. I still can't believe that this is Lindsey's first time making one of these because it's awesome. The pictures really don't do it any justice.

Thank you so much for being a great partner lindseymetz87. Sidney is welcome back any time. Maybe next time I can actually take him to a hockey game.

It was beautiful outside today, so I took Sidney to school with me.

That's the Cathedral of Learning, aka the Drunk Compass. It's right in the middle of campus, so you can see it from everywhere and always know generally where you are.

My bf brought Sidney home something from work.

Tattoo adventure tomorrow. I may be joining in and getting something, too. Guess we'll see.

I made it through finals and am finally (mostly) unpacked from my move. The bf and I (yes, we are still together despite the fact that I moved out, it's a bit complicated) went to the new diner that they put in in our area this past weekend.

I love pancakes.

We are going out this weekend to see a movie and try a restaurant that we haven't been to. I'll be sure to take Sidney with.
