I recently won an auction for a whole bunch of buttons. A lot of them are very plain, but some are fairly fancy. I took some of the plain ones to make this bangle for my daughter. She really likes it.
Made with a size 6 hook and size 10 thread. You can find the pattern here.

It's accordion folded with a separate cover and it's held together with tape. The book has the full text for the poem The Tyger by William Blake in it.
The version with the tiger on the cover is a collage of a couple photos I took last summer at the zoo.

The strap on the messenger bag (purchased) I was using as a purse broke last week, and I finally got around to making myself a new purse.

That's a comic book for scale.

I was planning to do a Batman logo, but then I remember I had a little bit of silver tape left, so did Captain Hammer instead!
Took me about 4 hours start to finish, and it's all tape except the velcro to hold the flap shut. The strap should be pretty secure, I wrapped it around the sides and bottom of the bag and taped it with lot of tape.

Just had to show off. For her birthday last year, she got a case of duct tape, and just ran last week. I picked her up the black and white, and she had those the next day.
This is Roxas from Kingdom Hearts if you don't know what he looks like.
For Halloween, she made most of her costume out of duct tape.

Recently it seems like there are a LOT of old copper pennies in circulation around here, so I've been pulling them out. My husband helped me with these by hammering the pennies flat.

I cast this in a water color dish with bat shaped confetti. I learned a few things during that cast.
Don't mix your glitter into the resin if you are including confetti, the glitter sank on my first cast and you couldn't see the confetti from the front, sprinkling the glitter on it while it was still wet worked a lot better.I also learned epoxy resins are a LOT "stickier" then the other kind, and even with mold release.. it can be really hard to uncast from a water color dish. Next time I'm sticking to the right kinds of molds.

I was really happy, I didn't test out the blank template like I usually do, and while I was printing it out in color I was pretty worried it wouldn't work, but it did!

I actually did a full set with numbers for an advent calender, now I just have to print them all out and assemble them!

I made this recently for my son, it's a dice bag, and my first stranded knitting.
It's done in acrylic, and the white is glow in the dark yarn. The big skull beads on the drawstrings were table decorations I found before Halloween that I drilled into beads.

My 17 yo was thrilled with it!

I was inspired by the tawashi group on Ravelry to try and design a rose tawashi. The pattern is loosely based off a strip method Japanese rose pattern.
I crocheted it in Peaches and Creme with a size F hook.

Most of the beading was done with size 11 Japanese seed beads, and SoNo thread. I did the hair with silamide and size 15 seed beads. Multiple stitch techniques.
