I love it.

If you choose to recycle the dress, you could add wings and become a wood sprite...

I hope he helped.  I love those last minute projects.

They look great!
3  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Halloween Geisha and Rōnin on: October 30, 2011 10:31:37 AM
I thought the costumes were awesome, but the photos were more so.

I'm also a bit envious of the fact that your husband will dress up for the holiday.  I married a fuddy duddy.

(sigh)

Yeah, we recently put up a pegboard wall along the long side of our bedroom.  However it solely supports my boyfriend's nerf gun collection!

pictures please???  (giggling)

i hope that most of the pain her loss has left with you has eased.  Perhaps the crafting that you do now reminds you of the time you shared crafting with her.  Keep her memory in your heart.

I found this as I contemplate what I want to do with an empty (or soon to be) bedroom in our house. My oldest has left for college, and will probably not be moving home after.  My husband has talked for years about turning the empty room into a smoking room, and I've always just figured that's what would happen.  Can you imagine my surprise when he said I should take it for my crafty stuff.  He does have one very real concern... he thinks he'll never see me again.

I know exactly where he can find me.

I am more excited by this prospect than I have been for many many years.  I'll take pictures of the transformation as I go along.  Have you made more improvements? how did his side of the room turn out (and no, i'm not sharing mine)

Every time I think I've seen some of the most creative items out here, I am amazed again by something of this caliber.

What a wonderful, thoughtful birthday present.

Kudos...

(off to find some crafty bits to play with)

you might also consider a silk or satin scarf.  The play of light on it will also add dimension and a luxurious feel.

I'm seeing "Ctrl Alt Delete" in a necklace

or "Esc" and the button with the Window's symbol...

earrings that say "PgUp" and "PgDn"
