1  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Discussion and Questions / The thinness of a felted piece on: March 20, 2011 11:40:39 AM
I am working on a needle and wet felted purse, a kit I got from http://feltingsupplies.livingfelt.com/.  The purse is done one side a time, in three layers of felt that are themselves made up of three layers of roving.  On my piece the first side is done, I think, but it seems very thick to me.  I've uploaded some pictures and would like y'all to advise me if I've got it thin enough and should proceed to the next layer--I've done the second side of the first layer already.

Thanks!
