I came home from visiting with family to find a bulging package at my door.  The stocking is beautiful!!  And there are so many additional wrapped presents!!!  I have clearly been spoiled!  I'll take pictures tomorrow. We'll see how long I can hold off opening!   Grin. Seeuudee said I could open the goodies in the stocking.  I'm going to try to take out 1 item a day, starting tomorrow.

These are so lovely!  I don't know why I never thought of making them as Xmas ornaments but you may have just given me another project to work on this season!

Favorite stocking stuffer? Hmmm the first two things that come to mind were the Life Saver Candy Books and the packages of different flavored chapped stick. My mom was forever having to replace them because I would leave them in my pants pockets and she would wash them, leaving greasy splotches all over everyone's clothes  Roll Eyes I looked forward to seeing what flavors she found. I think my favorites were the soda pop ones and the GIANT tube of chapped stick.  Cheesy

I'd forgotten about those Life Saver Candy Books!  They were wonderful!

Acadian Driftwood, so glad you're back safe and sound and, I'm sure, richer from the experience!

I failed in my goal to get my package in the mail by Dec. 1st.  Now I'm looking at Dec. 3rd.  But on the plus side, I plan on finding some extra chocolate while I'm out tomorrow to squeeze in!   Grin

My mother always manages to find interesting and yummy cocoa packets to put in my stocking.  I remember a creme brle flavored one that was especially delicious!

I will wait until Christmas day to open mine, unless you specify something that should be opened ahead of time. Having read this, I am now planning to mark some of the parcels that can be opened in the lead up to Christmas and some that need to wait!!  Roll Eyes Kiss

I can live with that!   Grin

and if your mom has given the thumbs up, I'd say that is high praise!

My Mom likes almost everything I make. 😀. It makes her an excellent recipient for handmade presents!   She really loves all the stuff I receive in swaps too!  You should have seen her admiring all my Halloween decorations this year!

My condolences, IsikkahJai!  I've had that experience of botching the last stage of a project that seems to be turning out so well.  I try to see it as a lesson to learn from but it's frustrating, to say the least!
