1  Inkjet your headboard! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Heewack on: June 09, 2007 01:15:43 AM
We all desire an elegant iron headboard, don't we? Unfortunately, we've just got a mattress on the carpet.  This is a passable alternative.  Lets print out our possessions!

I did this in Adobe Illustrator, but I'm sure the infamous Rasterbator could be equally useful.  http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/

I am curious to hear other ideas about possessions which could and should be reproduced in this fashion.

My brush holes were 1/2 inch cause brushes seem to be getting fatter and fatter (sedintary lifestyle I guess).  Though, by nature I think a hole of any size seems to work considering how toothbrushes tend to draft inward toward the bottom.  May not have that clean sunken look, but will fit in a hole.

I think your toothbrush dilemma might call for an interesting craft involving one of these

a drill bit gauge tester.  They are a pretty unique piece of hardware, lots of interesting holders could be formed from them.  Perhaps each of the tiny ones could hold a q-tip or toothpick?
