Just finished this project as per request of a friend as a Birthday gift. I'm sure she will display it with pride. I found the lettering pattern on Google and just kinda winged it for the border. I hope you enjoy looking and welcome comments! Megtastic

9  Coffee filter garland for only $2.14 in Winter Holidays by Megtastic on: December 20, 2011 08:11:08 AM
We moved to a 100 year old farm house just last month, so for Christmas this year I decided to go old school. I made this tree garland out of 99 coffee filter packs.

First I folded the filter in half and again two more times till I was left with a little folded triangle. Then I used a needle and strong thread to string all the filters together. After a little fluffing it turned out simple yet elegant. Hope you will enjoy as much as we do.

10  I LOVE MEAT!!!!! in Needlework: Completed Projects by Megtastic on: November 09, 2011 08:11:27 PM

I just finished this so the pic n framing is bad. I will replace the picture when I fix it. This saying came up in a recent conversation so I thought it would make a great cross stitch piece. What do you think?
