My husband LOVES 70s inspired shirts so I made one for our little man.  This was sooo easy to make.  From start to finish it took me about an hour.  I plan to make several more for the summer.

5  Cloth napkins and fabric basket in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by sexylovekitten on: August 16, 2009 05:04:39 PM
So I have been wanting to try to move away from using paper towels.  We have a bad habit of using them for napkins at meals.  So I made some cloth napkins from leftover fabric from past projects that had a bit too much fabric to toss, but not enough to really do much with.  Then I needed something to store the napkins in on the table so I whipped up a little fabric basket/bin.

6  Fancytown Plastic Bag Holder in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by sexylovekitten on: August 10, 2009 03:15:34 AM
Despite my attempts to always use a cloth shopping bag, I still have quite a collection of plastic bags (which are useful for dogs and baby related catastrophes).  The collection is quite ugly, so I tried to find a way to make it more pleasant to look at.  Hence the fancytown plastic bag holder.

8  Punk Rock Baby in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by sexylovekitten on: August 05, 2009 03:37:56 AM
This is from  a month or two ago.  Little punk rock outfit for my little man.  I made the hoodie and the pants from scratch and ironed the skull on a onesie.

To make the pants, I used a pair that fit him well as a guide.  I did the same for the hoodie as he had a sweater that fit him pretty well and I used that as a guide.  The hoodie is made from fleece and has a separating zipper.

The baby sized vans were a gift from a friend.  They were soooo cute!  I'm sad he's too big to wear them anymore.

9  Skully Baby Shoes in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by sexylovekitten on: August 04, 2009 03:47:33 AM
Baby skully shoes. Not that babies really need shoes but they are super cute.  They're still a little too big for my little man since he's just 4 and a half months old, but I'm sure they'll come in quite handy in the future.  More pix on my blog as well as links to the pattern.

10  Blocks for Baby in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by sexylovekitten on: July 30, 2009 03:36:54 AM
It was hard to figure out exactly what forum these should go on, but I guess they're technically a toy, but just not as fancy as most toys on here.  anyways, just some basic squishy blocks for Indie to play with.  He's quite a fan because he can pick these up and squish them between his little hands.  I have many plans to make additional blocks that are more exciting.  Hoping to get to that this weekend.

More pictures, details and tutorial on my blog.
