1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Fiend Skull Cross Stitch on: March 06, 2011 12:13:35 PM

Not the greatest photo, but it's the Misfits Fiend Skull logo stitched in black and purple on Charles Craft Aida in 'Grasshopper' (lime green). Birthday gift for a friend who not only loves the Misfits, but does all kinds of creepy stuff like working in haunted houses and doing horror makeup. And I thought a guy wouldn't like a cross-stitched birthday gift...
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Pabst Blue Ribbon Label Cross-Stitch on: February 28, 2011 10:46:25 PM

My foray into cross-stitch was with a trip to the library and picking up Subversive Cross Stitch, but now I just get ridiculous ideas, like this Pabst Blue Ribbon label. Who said crafting had to be serious? I regularly meld things I love for no reason other than the WTF factor!

3  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Not new to crafting, but new to Craftster! on: February 28, 2011 10:10:59 PM
I'm Liz. As a primer to who I am, I offer the following: I enjoy the following: Pabst Blue Ribbon, Jack Daniels, getting tattooed, being loud, meowing at people, smelling bread before I eat it, writing, photography, "Bat Out of Hell" on vinyl, religious iconography, being a cat mom, Wisconsin, sweet hangs with my BFFs, late night Taco Bell runs, Vincent Price, making fun of myself, crafting, traveling, tattoo conventions, and being loud. This is just to name a few.

As far as my crafting goes, I am a knitter with a recent interest in cross-stitch. Beyond that, I'm always building something. From hair flowers and other accessories to deconstructing and reconstructing clothing, there's not much in the craft arena I haven't tried.

My crafting blog can be found here: http://blackheartknits.wordpress.com and I promise more (and more frequent) updates to come!

Good to be around!
