Ooh, that's so pretty! I agree, I would buy a skirt like that in a store. Well, maybe not cuz I get a bad case of the I-could-make-thats when I go shopping, but hey, that's what makes us DIY-ers, right?

You could use the paper dolls in collages or I guess you could glue them to a solid black back ground and cut it out to make it look nicer and then frame them, if they're really cool. You could string them in garlands around your room, too.  I use them to decorate my French binder.

How about using them as bases for those wire Christmas card holders you always see? You could either twist the wire stems and holders in advance or use pipe cleaners. Then you would reinforce the cupcake holders with cardboard on the bottom and stick the wire through that, so it stood up like a tree. You have a loop of wire at the top to stick Christmas cards in. Kinda complicated for little kids but you could do part in advance maybe, and everybody needs to put their cards somewhere.
Mmm, I love cupcakes, you could just have a huge bake-a-thon of cupcakes.  Smiley

Does anyone know what to do with old Time magazines? I've got a kazillion, seriously, they're all over my bed (including the one I read about this site in, funny how that works). Any ideas?

Yes! That is so awesome! I'm not the only one who loves cupcakes! I don't feel so alone anymore!
