1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Sticky after glazing? on: July 06, 2012 10:36:18 PM
I've been using Sculpey brand glaze for over a year, and it's worked great for me. Not a single problem.

But now all of a sudden, my pieces are starting to become sticky after glazing. Then I noticed on the cap the glaze is "a new formula." Which I guess isn't working in my favor.

I have no idea what to do to fix it. I've tried rinsing a piece with water and it didn't do anything.

I will be trying a new glaze asap, but I was wondering if anyone knows what to do to fix the sticky pieces in the meantime? I don't want to lose them, I really want to try and keep them and I don't have a clue what to do.

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Friday the 13th Jason Ring on: May 13, 2011 03:41:05 PM
In light of today being Friday the 13th, and loving the horror series, I made a Jason ring today. Check it out!

He's made of clay and painted with acrylic paints. I really love the way he turned out. He's creepy AND cute at the same time. Smiley
3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Everything Portal *Spoilers for Portal 2* on: May 05, 2011 12:57:18 PM
Valve has turned me into a Portal/Portal 2 junkie. All I can think about lately is making more and more Portal stuff, and now I want to share what I've made so far:

This is a bundle I have for sale from Portal. The bundle comes with 2 turrets, the GlaDOs eye cores, and a cake (not a lie!)

GlaDOs potato! I love her, she's my precious. And I finally put her up for sale at my store!

Another shot of the potato. Tiny, vicious, awesome.

What do you think? I'm working on much more, but so far I love what I've made!
