1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: First post...pink shrug made in Germany on: July 13, 2006 07:29:51 AM
Wow, great job!  I like that shrug a whole lot - and the picture is a great one, even if its not you Smiley
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: black and white and AWESOME all over on: July 11, 2006 04:18:58 PM
Thanks for your compliments!  The fabric came from JoAnn's, and I think it was specially made for them.  The pattern was a half-circle skirt, so it was extremely easy to make, just 2 side seams and a waistband.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: summery green tank top on: July 11, 2006 04:17:04 PM
Thanks for your compliments!  I looked it up - the pattern was Simplicity #4127.  The pattern calls for a zipper in the back, but I used buttons instead, which I like a lot better!  Although they do require some acrobatics to button yourself Smiley
4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / quilted notecards on: July 11, 2006 09:54:52 AM
I'm not sure if this is quilting OR stationary, so I'm going to say both.  The idea is from "Denyse Schmidt Quilts," an awesome, awesome book.  These are fun and easy to make - the best part is picking out all the possible fabric combinations - great for scraps!

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / southwest-inspired desk drawers on: July 11, 2006 09:51:49 AM
I got one of those unpainted drawer sets from Ikea, and just HAD to paint it.  I finally decided on a Mexican tile inspired design.  Thanks for looking!

Yet another skirt to add to the mix - but this one is super special to me because it involved my first zipper!  And the fabric was on sale, which is always a good thing.

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / summery green tank top on: July 11, 2006 09:38:46 AM
I had some very light woven fabric (I have no idea what it is) laying around from a sporatic purchase at Wal-mart a couple years ago.  I finally found the perfect pattern to go with it!  It's a simplicity pattern, although I can't remember the number just now.

Thanks for looking!

I love how you took a traditional pattern and used such great funky fabric!  It's beautiful!

That's a beautiful quilt!  Great job!
10  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / A Very Bright Quilt! on: April 20, 2006 07:05:59 AM
Here is a quilt I made as part of a block exchange - 8 of my friends each made 8 of the same block design, and then we switched.  The only rule was that everyone had to use the same green fabric somewhere in their square.  I love how it turned out!
