Good to see some local action on this site. Too bad your meetings are on Wednesdays though. I already have a previous engagement on those nights. Maybe I could make it to a Sunday meet up. I'm very excited about getting involved in some swaps and being able to bounce craft ideas off of other people.

Gives me an idea for my wedding shoes which were lace flats. They were too tight and I haven't worn them since, but I didn't want to throw them out cause they were so cute, but cutting the backs and putting in ribbon seems like such a perfect solution.

Beautiful work, looks like it takes so long to make one. I don't think I have to patience to dedicate that much time to one piece. If hot glue doesn't get the job done I don't do it.
