21  Needle Felted Necklace - WIP in Felting: Completed Projects by Harlan on: May 26, 2013 05:10:51 AM
Still working on this concept and will begin doing variations:

I'm hoping to develop it into a class before too long, but a lot of work still to do!

for now at least!

Finished this guy the other day and have been busy since editing photos and putting together the class. The work progresses slowly, but pretty well I think!

THank you!!!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I've been working this little (2.5-3") guy today -

I was going to do more detailing on the wings/back, but given his size I think that might make him too busy. I'm going to let him (and me) rest and think about that idea for a while.

Thank you!!!  Cheesy  Cheesy

I've got a lot more owls made. These are quite fun to make. Did a spectacled owl yesterday that was very interesting.

Here are a couple more pictured with the barn owl you've already seen:

I'm working on a series of small owls. I will do some "realistic" and others just for fun. This one is about 2.5". I'm very pleased with how he turned out! =^..^=

26  Tiny Mouse in Felting: Completed Projects by Harlan on: March 11, 2013 03:41:25 AM

I've been putting this together as a class for CraftArtEdu. Almost have it done. Hopefully I will have it finished today. I made the first mouse like this many years ago to go with one of my Prittens. It's an easy project and fun to make. I keep meaning to do a variation making bunny ears and tail - I think that would work just as well. =^..^=

27  Candy Pod Bracelet in Felting: Completed Projects by Harlan on: February 28, 2013 11:28:10 AM

Lately I've been putting together a class for making pod bracelets. Finally got it finished. Pod bracelets are fun to make! I did a lot of design work on my computer before I ever actually picked up the fiber and started felting. Usually I'll jot down some ideas, but this is the first time that I did so much on my computer.

29  My second "larger" needle felted cat in Felting: Completed Projects by Harlan on: January 29, 2013 01:36:19 PM
I was seriously beginning to wonder if I would ever get the fur done on this baby!

Larger than the last one. I have a painting to do next so needle felting will be on hold for a bit.
