coasters? yes!  we have some but can always use more

grow plants? no, but i'd like to try an indoor herb garden in the summer

color schemes for rooms? bathroom is red/orange.  bedroom is blue/green. living room has a gray couch and lots of nature photos, but no real scheme.  kitchen no scheme too.

Woah.  Bit of forum overload!  I started stalking and am very excited!  Some of my tastes are very similar to my partners and I have a couple of ideas I'm very anxious to get started on.

To answer questions (I think I got them all...there are a lot!)

music - I like the Indigo Girls, ani, Bitch, Vanessa Torres..lots of singer/songwriters

scarves - I don't really wear scarves....I always feel like I am choking.

blue jeans - I love wearing my jeans, though I am picky about them.  I can't really think of any crafts out of them I like very much.

bright colors - I prefer earth tones, though fiery colors are nice also. Recently gotten more into orange. Not a fan of neons.

I live in New England where the weather is frequently very cold, so I love warm crocheted/knitted things

hobbies outside of crafting - reading, playing Wii (Mario Galaxy most recently, though also sports resort), playing DS (Professor Layton!), letterboxing, camping, cooking, board games (Set, Mille Bornes, Sequence, FLuxx)

sushi related crafts? - I'm not really into these.

musicals - Avenue Q, Rent, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Guys and Dolls, Hello Dolly!

knit/crochet bags - I don't really carry a purse.  I like messenger style bags. Knit/crochet would be fine as long as it is sturdy enough...a lining or felting/fulling would be best.

kind of snack? - I like dark chocolate and salt and vinegar chips. (Not at the same time!)

would sewn replica be ok for crochet/knit? absolutely!  I like the things on my wists, but definitely don't need an exact replica!

designated craft room/area? theme?  not really...I have a desk and some drawers/stacking baskets...it's all very unorganized and is just a corner of the bedroom and a corner in the living room

ceramics pottery clay - I'm pretty sure I mentioned this in my questionnaire...hmm ...yes! love it.

kit? - sure! not sure what I'd want a kit of, though.


whew!  That was a lot of catching up, considering I was only gone less than a day!

A question to ask:  Do you like candles and/or soaps/lotions/body products?  My answer....I love candles! and could use some votive candle holders. but not so much soap or lotions, as I tend to be sensitive to those.  Though foot scrubs/soaks are really nice!

Oh, man.  I wasn't going to do any swaps.  Hadn't even THOUGHT about it. But I looked.  Of course I looked.  And, of course, it's crafty detective.  This is...tempting. Very tempting.  But time consuming. Though there is a looong crafting time.  oh, swaps, why are you so alluring?!?

Hmmm....1 star afghan, 1 non-star afghan which is technically all crocheted, I just haven't gotten around to weaving in ends/blocking, 1 (knit) sock.  and I have patterns and specific yarn (as opposed to stash yarn) for three more set projects for holiday gifts (a set of pillows, a hat, and a stuffy) though I haven't actually started those yet. I am planning on starting the pillows later tonight, however!

I would be interested, depending on the size - I can't manage a really big swap right now with the rest of life.
