Oh!  Oh!

Um...

/nonchalant

My last hint is that I'm from Tacoma WA and I put a ton of little notes in my package but then forgot to reveal myself!

 Grin

Um, I did this too!  Realized it as I was mailing today....used my craftster name under my actual name on the mailing label, but. doh!

I'm with gamemom - what oatmeal?!?

I lost internet for awhile, but it is good to have it back!  While it was down, I received a  teaser in the mail - a very very cute owl needlebook postmarked from Chicago!   Very excited.  I'm at class now, so probably won't get pictures up until later or maybe tomorrow.  But it's cute!

I have a small, a smallish-medium, medium, and large done!  There is still one medium I am very excited about that needs some work, so I'm going to finish it up tonight hopefully and send out on time tomorrow.  So exciting!

Send out deadlines get closer and closer and I start looking for packages every day....I can't wait!

Oooh, things are getting exciting! i finished up a small last night and am planning on finishing the medium tonight...we'll see how that goes!  I've broken out the West Wing dvds, which definitely means it is time for some serious crafting!

My hint today:  You joined craftster after I did, but you actually have more posts than me!  (I think I'm just sort of quiet...)

The Pacman button bag is amazing!  And I love all the Nintendo stuff...nice work!

oh man!  all this reverse stalking going on!  I don't think I want to even try...it's more fun to just pull it out of the box and be surprised!

To my stalkee (in case you are reverse stalking): we live in the same time zone, but very different parts of it.

I finished up a small and medium, am about 1/3 done with the large, and 1/2 done with another medium.  Very exciting!

He's amazing! I love all the different yarns mixed together.

I don't think I could keep up if I tried to reverse stalk....I mentally say "oh, not me!" or "hmm...." when I read hints, but then I forget who said them and, quite honestly, I don't want to go back through our 140+ page thread to figure it out!

Dear Stalkee:

I have little progress to report, as school has kicked it up a notch and work has been insane.  But!  I did try a brand new craft for a small, and though it is not totally done, it is turning out quite well!  Very exciting and I hope you get lots of use out of your new ________.

I have a fauxhawk, or sometimes in summer it is cropped really close (not quite shaved.)  So not so much on things for my hair, thanks.  Hats are excellent, though!
19  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Where did you learn to crochet? And make your own patterns? on: March 04, 2010 06:18:02 PM
I've been crocheting for about 15 years.  I learned in 4-H.

The things that were most helpful to me:  having a good understanding of the different basic stitches/increasing/decreasing; looking at and crocheting lots of different patterns; and not being afraid to try something and take it out or start over if it didn't work.  Honestly, that's the biggest thing - just try it!  and if it doesn't work, well, that's what frogging is for...

I am so glad you asked about whimsies!  I had no idea what they were, but so many people seem so excited by them around here...

In other news, I have 1/2 finished the __________. and only have a little bit left on the ___________! yes!

I wear prescription glasses and sunglasses, and don't need anything for them.  I don't really wear arm warmers...wrist warmers/fingerless gloves might be ok, but not super long.  And I have tiny hands (like children's size large gloves tiny).  And I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other on real fur, but I don't actually like the look of fur (real or faux).
