Bugger. Mine ended up being too small. I tried it on a few times and it felt fine. But then for some reason I tried it on again, just as I got to the decreases. Too small. Oh well. It was such a quick knit, I'll just start over!

I've cast on in the indulgence on size 5 circs. I swatched a size 6 at the yarnstore and the fabric was just too loosey-goosey. Strangely enough, I had to take some repeats out of the pattern to make it small enough. If I had done 110 stitches I think it would have been huge. I have tried it on using waste yarn though, and it seems just right. It's quick knitting, I have about 4" done already!

I just picked up a ball of Cascade Indulgence (on clearance woot!) today at the LYS. I'm hoping it will work up right.

Starshadow - I had similiar problems. Couldn't get them the right size to save my life. This is what I've ended up doing. Working the ribbing on size 0 addis (2mm), and the leg on size 1 addis (2.5mm), then working the pattern of the foot on size 1 and the sole of the foot on size 2. Addis needles are a bit bigger than normal US dpns sizes, and this I think is giving me the ease I need to be able to put the sock on. I'm working the 84 stitch version.

I'm making mine in Sock Garden Hydrangea. I'm using size 0 addis for the ribbing and the sole, and size 1 addis for the pattern. I'm doing the 84 stitch version - I wear a size 9.5 shoe. This pattern had been giving me a lot of gas, but finally it seem to be coming together. Plus I think the sole being worked on size 0 will really help with the durability of the socks. If these come out as nice as I think, I will probably make another pair in my Sock Garden Stargazer Lily.

I've been trying to figure out what to do for this. I have a TON of UFO's going right now. I just cleaned up my knitting nook in the office and I have yarn for a bunch of stuff. I do have 6 balls of bubblegum cotton-ease - maybe I'll finally do Sitcom Chic. I just have to decide if I can really get away with wearing something bubblegum colored!

Mine is going well. I crossed the cables backwards on the neck area - but I think only a "rogue knitter" would notice, and I've already frogged that part umpteen times, so it's staying. I'm making the cardigan version in Walnut Heather Cascade 220. I've seamed the shoulders and I'm working on the hood. I also seem to have a lot of ends to weave in, so I've been doing that as I go along.

I did a three needle bind off on the shoulders. I had originally tried to seam the bound off edges, but it looked wretched, so I pulled out the bind-off and did the 3-needle instead.

It really looks awesome on you. I have some yarn in my basket waiting for that one. But I'm resisting casting on - I have so many WIP's it's scary.

Mine is done!

A couple of things I learned about Rowan Kidsilk Haze:

It does NOT frog! At all. None, zip, zero, zilch, nada. So take your time and don't screw up.

It's gorgeous and has an "ethereal" feeling to it. And it's perfect for a warmer weather scarf. And you just feel so posh with it touching your skin.

Good needles are key. Preferably wooden or bamboo with nice pointy tips. I worked my scarf on Lantern Moon needles. They were the only ones I could get to work just so. If your LYS will let you, try to cast on with the needles you intend to buy, before you buy them.

I'm doing mine in Rowan Kidsilk Haze in Khaki. It's really a nice pale sage green though. Here's a pic with 9 repeats.... I'm now finished with 34. Just have about two more and then blocking and then shipping it off to Ohio for my mommy for M-Day!
