IT makes me want to craft like crazy, even though my talents are not that great Smiley

Loving what I'm doing... Hope my amazing partner likes it too.

BTW, just to show I'm still hunting Goreyish things down, have any of you seen this:

What a clever idea! I would play with it all the time.

Thanks, Rackycoo, we do Cheesy

And it's still a work in progress. I have to think up a better way to seal the pages, make it more finished/polished book and more portable - that is craft a closing that will make carrying it around easier and less sand-accident prone.

I've been asked to produce another one, for a therapist that uses a sand box in her work. How cool is that?

Absolutely amazing!!!

I love both the subject matter and the execution to bits.
in fact, Kcli, I think I'd like your permission to try making one myself!!

First ever time I enter a challenge in Crafster...

I just couldn't resist, books being one of my biggest passions, which created a problem in it's own as it took me almost a month to dare to cut into one of those throves of wisdom - an encyclopedia, even old, outdated and certainly not needed anymore.

I learned a lot doing this project (not least because I actually read snippets of information while cutting), about the importance of the right tools, the right set of mind, and the ability to be content, even if the work is not perfect.

So I give you - formerly a Hebrew Encyclopedia, now a sand box/miniature zen garden. It's already shaping to be one of our favorite toys, and I've already have a request to make another one.

Please excuse the imperfections. This is a process of learning.

C&C welcome!

Book before

work in progress

My daughter insisted in making her own arrangement.

this is going to be fun!

Still stalking hehehe... and boy is there a lot to stalk there when your partner's a craftdiva!

I already know about some of the extras my dear partner is going to receive. and have ideas buzzing an buzzing in my head.

This week is soo overbooked (oh, my weekend's over), that I shall be happy to finish with the one craft I've set myself, and maybe just try something out to see if its feasible.

Craft Feasibility Tests Lab... now that's a good place to work.

BTW- ever seen the book called "Her Idea" or the presentation of the book? certainly worth your while.
