I do have one question though:

It says to repeat rows 2 - 3,  6 times (13 rows total).. (I hadn't thought of this part.. hoorah!) my gauge is 14sts by 18 rows..

Would I have to do the math (multipy or divide some by 6? or the number of sts, whatever)?

I don't get it - I can make my own patterns, but when it comes to pre-made ones, I get all.. overthinky.

I'm way too poor to buy yarn, so I have to make do with what I have.

I double stranded the Simply Soft (after trying it on every needle size in a fit of desperation), on 9s, 10s, 10.5s..

and on 10.5s, I got really excited, but then recounted - 14 sts by 18 rows in a 10cm square 

If I go to 8s, the rows will.. increase? but.. hm.. I'm so terribly confusled.

Does anyone know how I can convert this? I want to cry.

Roe - I used oh-so-cheap and oh-so-soft Caron Simply Soft. I think my gauge was way off, because I had to make quite a few alterations.. But ya know.. "all's well that ends well"

What kind of alterations did you make? I'm using the same yarn!

Other people: Lionbrand Jiffy knits up at: 14.5sts + 18 rows = 10cm with 10s.  Close enough? Ha ha.

Not sure about how to show inventory amount, but I did find a hosting service where you can host your site for free (and still use your domain name, and not have their advertising). It's www.doteasy.com. I just used it for a site I'm working on for my brother's band (www.thebikes.net). In the past I've used other hosting services, but as the band has no money...we tried doteasy and it seems okay so far. Haven't tried it yet but they also have scripts for photo galleries and blogs as part of their free stuff. I have no affiliation with them by the way. Just thought I'd pass this along.
