11  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Pumpkins and Snakes on: November 03, 2006 06:00:47 AM
Here are the cute pumpkins from Knitty.  They turned out really cute.

This is the Snake Draft Dodger from the "Vogue On The Go Felting book"  It was as tall as me (which doesn't say much, I'm 4' 11 3/4") before felting!  I'll put the before and after felting pics.

Thanks for looking!
12  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Help please..increase in 2x2 ribbing on: March 15, 2006 08:14:52 AM
Hi,  I'm hoping someone out there can help me figure out how to increase in 2x2 ribbing.  I'm making sleeves and I've tried to play around with it and just can't figure it out.  Whatever I end up doing looks ugly.  I would appreciate any help I can get please,

Thanks!
13  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / ATTN Knitters....cheap soft re-yarn! on: March 14, 2006 05:21:14 PM
I found some "boa" scarves at Wal-mart on sale for 50 cents each.   They are made of a very soft acrylic and rip out easily.  I'd say they are a bulky weight yarn.  I went back and bought 10 more!   Go, hurry, run fast to your nearest Wal-mart before they are gone!  They were in the scarf section of my Wal-mart, not the sale isle.

I had to share my find with all of you!
14  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knitted Flower Garden on: June 04, 2005 07:24:19 PM
Here are some knitted and felted flowers I made to help decorate my LYS.  I have some more in the washer right now!

Thanks for looking  Grin

Oh yah, the pattern is a little booklet from "Two Old Bags" called Wooly Embellishments.

This is my 1st picture post so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
15  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / knitting guage question on: June 02, 2005 07:35:52 PM
I want to start a sweater that is in a pattern but the guage doesn't say whether it's in pattern or in stockinette stitch.  Should I assume the guage should be done in the pattern?

I would sure appreciate some help.....thanks in advance!
