I'm making this tote bag and it has some felted circles attached to it.  The pattern has very poor directions on how to crochet them.  I am no crocheter but really tried to figure it out.  They are all wobbly and funny looking.  I'm not sure if they'll look right after felting either. 

My question(s) is this:   Do you know of an easy way to make flat circles?   Is crocheting them easier than knitting them?

Does anyone know where I've seen that baby hat that you just kinda bundle up the corners of the hat to make it like a bunny hat?  It's not separate ears, it seems like it might be a "square" hat with the corners tied??? Make sense?  I can't think of where I've seen it.

So, I bought some of that super soft "oh My" yarn at my LYS.   I just can't think of a design or pattern to knit for a baby blanket.  I have like 5-6 baby pattern books and nothing looks "right"!  I bought 5 blue and 2 yellow.....who knows how I came up with the numbers. 

I'm looking for some suggestions.  I want easy but not boring....no seaming up squares   

Anyone have any ideas?   Pretty please.....I desparately need your help!

I know there's a KAL for this but I'm not sure if anyone is making this on there anymore.  I need help with the edging on the Pinwheel sweater.  Has anyone reading this made this sweater?  I want to make the alternating loop one.

Hello!  I have this terrible habit of buying sale yarn from a bin at my LYS.  So, I end up with 1-2 skeins of all kinds of yarn.  I thought we could brainstorm different things to make with small amts. of yarn.....anywhere from 50-300 yards.  I'm not too creative and I have a TON of scarves and purses that I've made.

My ideas:

One Skein Wonder (Glampyre)
Fingerless mitts
cell phone cozy


(my brain has frozen, that's why I need your help!  )

There's this red hat with cables on it, it as ear flaps and thick braids off the ear flaps.  I think it's from a Classic Elite book.  Does anyone know the one I'm talking about?  I LOVE this hat and want it so badly.  I would sure love it if someone could help me come up with this pattern.  Anyone?  Pleeeeeeaaaaase?   

I'm wondering if anyone out there in Craftster land knows of a kids beret and a kids baseball cap pattern?  Preferably free but I'd buy one if I had to.

This is a sweater I made for my 2 year old.  I didn't block it yet.

Here is a close up of the cables.


He's being a 2 year old and refusing to wear it!  I'll get it on him one of these days and force him to wear it in public.  I think he's fighting it because he knows how excited I am about him wearing it.  Is it terrific toddler or terrible toddler?!

Here is a Ribbon sweater I made for my mom.  It took me forever (almost a year) because I got so discouraged with it.  It was impossible to get any sort of guage!  But it did end up looking nice.  I have no clue if it'll fit her, so keep your fingers crossed for me...I'm mailing it soon.


I had help picking out the buttons.  I think they are perfect!
