That's a great idea to do one in each.  The pattern does say it will stretch in the shoulder area.  I hadn't thought of what I should do about that.  Is there something special I need to do or just let it stetch?

I want to start a sweater that is in a pattern but the guage doesn't say whether it's in pattern or in stockinette stitch.  Should I assume the guage should be done in the pattern?
