391  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Dinosaur Swap Round 3 (Sign-ups 4/20-4/30/12; Sendouts 5/30/12) on: May 20, 2012 02:57:39 PM
I'm almost done. I had a small setback today, so I have to fix a few things, but hopefully I'll be completely done by the end of the week!

I have a few items I just need to finish up and then a few I need to get moving on, but I think I'm in a good spot!

I've started crafting and I hope everyone is having a wonderful, craft-filled week!

What a beautiful and thoughtful way to pop the question! Congrats!

This is soooo cool! Did you use a pattern or was it something you just came up with? Either way it's baller.

These are too cute! I have plenty of friends who would absolutely adore these!
397  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Folklore Bag on: April 29, 2012 10:37:26 AM
This is a bag I made using the Folklore Bag pattern from the book "One Yard Wonders"

I'm in love with it. At first I thought it was going to be smaller than I would like, but it turned out to be the perfect size.

Here is a close-up of the pleating detail:

The instructions were a little confusing, so I think it turned out a little wonky, but I really, really love it. It fits everything and looks pretty darn cute. I couldn't ask for a better bag.
398  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / It's My Cat on a Box on: April 29, 2012 10:32:16 AM
Back in the late 90's or early 00's (approximately, since that is when I went through my "cat stage"), I bought a cross stitch kit where the finished product resulted in a small decorated cat box. Fast forward to now, I found said kit in a bunch of old craft things and finally finished it.

I'm in love with the pink edges. This was definitely worth holding on to.
399  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Eyelet Hat on: April 29, 2012 10:23:46 AM
Since winter was practically non-existent this year, I was having winter clothing withdrawals. I decided to make this hat because it is relatively lightweight and perfect for the chillier days in spring.

Here is the link to the pattern I used:http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/leeannes-eyelet-beret

And here is an action shot:

400  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Easy Peasy Baby Sweater on: April 29, 2012 10:18:59 AM
One of my good friends from high school is having a baby, so of course I wanted to make some cute (and easy) baby swag. I made this using the Rectangle Garter Baby Cardigan pattern from Lion Brand. This is probably one of the easiest things I have ever made and it looks pretty darn cute.

I can't wait to see it in action!
