I received my package from Greys Princess yesterday and I couldn't be more excited!

The whole package:

A River Song journal, an 11th Doctor bracelet, and a BEAUTIFUL TARDIS hoop from one of my favorite episodes!

There is a closer look at the hoop:

It is absolutely stunning. Thank you so much for all the wonderful and beautifully crafted goodies!!

Now that my partner has received, I can share my goodies from the Doctor Who Swap!

I made a hat, mittens, a pin, and a needle book and it's entirely from my stash!  WooHoo!

It feel like I haven't been doing anything but crafting here lately, unfortunately I can't show much of it because the majority of my destashing is going to swaps. But I did manage to make an Easter dress:

And a few hats that I'm going to donate to be used by people going through chemo:

I've got a million single skeins of yarn that I'm not super in love with, so I figure they should go somewhere where they can be appreciated! Smiley

I LOVE the sock Cthulhu!

I've had a relatively successful month when it comes to destashing.

Two hats:

Some necklaces:

And a sweater:

Here is a close up on the lace detail:

I'm obsessed with it and used up about 6 skeins of Vanna's Choice! Hooray!!

65  Re: Old Fashioned Book Lover's Swap GALLERY, send by Feb 26 2013 in The Swap Gallery by jfer007 on: February 23, 2013 07:04:49 AM
I received from susanb yesterday and I was totally spoiled!!!

Here is a picture of all my goodies together:

The books she chose were perfect: Battlefield Earth by L. Ron Hubbard and Marvin K. Mooney Will You Please Go Now by Dr. Deuss. The kids I work with think every book is written by Dr. Seuss, so they will love this.

susanb made me a beautiful book bag and two stunning bookmarks, one craft themed and one love themed. Totally perfect!

She also sent me a really lovely pen and a magnifying glass bookmark!

Again, thank you so much for being such a wonderful partner! You're the best!

I had a glorious snow day today and managed to get some de-stashing done!

I used a sheet of plastic canvas and about 2 skeins of yarn to make these beards. They were super easy to make and I definitely plan to make more in the future!

My first completed project of 2013: A shawl for one of my friends!

I used 2 1/2 skeins of yarn and I also "de-stashed" some of my Netflix queue. Hooray for multitasking!!

68  Doctor Whooves in Needlework: Completed Projects by jfer007 on: December 11, 2012 05:26:39 PM
This is a Doctor Who re-imagined My Little Pony hoop that I made for my partner in the Secret Santa swap.

It was so much fun to make and it was the first time I had used crayons while embroidering and I must say, I am a fan of that technique!

70  Doctor Who Cross Stitch in Needlework: Completed Projects by jfer007 on: October 09, 2012 09:50:59 AM
I got this glorious pattern on flickr and knew I had to make it for the most recent Doctor Who swap! It took me forever, but I thought it turned out wonderfully!

It was so hard to part with, but I got enough supplies to make a second one for me Smiley
