With a snow day before my regular day off, a half day, and then another day off, I've been able to get a lot done!

A stocking using my stash yarn for my fiance:

That same fiance volunteered my knitting services to his co-workers, so here are the scarves I made them:

And for my New Years resolution challenge, I'm trying to be more positive and look for the good in every day, so when I found this kit, I knew it would be a perfect reminder for me to keep my resolution:

I used some yarn today and made a stocking!

And I've also gathered old magazines to donate to my local library! Hooray for making room in my bookshelves!!

I was able to knock out two bits of stash!

I re-made a headband that I somehow misplaced between work and my apartment:

And I finished a hat I started a few months ago, but then forgot about due to Christmas crafting:

I also went through one of my craft boxes yesterday and discovered it was half full of memorabilia. Cards, notes, pictures, little things like that. One of my goals for this year (while not technically destashing) is to organize that. I'm going to find something to do with all these precious goodies, instead of hiding them away! I'm thinking about binding some cards together and make a book with some of  the super special ones I don't want ruined.

Having half of yesterday and all of today off has allowed me time to start 2014 off right!!

I made a neck warmer and hand warmers for my dad's birthday. He is a fur trapper and when I saw this fabric I knew he had to get something with it!

I finished a hat I started a few months ago, then forgot about due to Christmas crafting:

And a headband!

Well, I did a small bit of de-stashing yesterday and made a headband. Unfortunately, I wore it to work today and lost it between there and my apartment!  Shocked However, it was incredibly simple to make and will definitely be making more.

Also, sorry for the horrible picture, I thought I would have the chance to take more this evening!  Cheesy

Happy New Year, everyone!! See you in 2014!!

I received from kittykill today and I'm in LOVE!

She sent the most spectacular Santa hoop!

I love how jolly he looks!

And she sent this sweet little vintage ornament!

Thank you so much!

So, I've had this turkey kit for the past two Thanksgivings and I wasn't about to let it sit around unmade for a third. I got out my hot glue gun and only 10 minutes later, I had this cute little guy:

And while the glue gun was out, I used up some felt I had laying around and made some bows to use for the upcoming holidays:

I've gotten a few things done in the past few months and finally got around this afternoon to weaving in ends and taking pictures. I always feel like that's the worst part of crafting! It takes me forever!! Anyways,

Knit pincushion for OTT Fall Holiday swap with felt pins:

Scarf using some hand-spun yarn:

Hat that will most likely go to the chemo center:

Potholder that was literally waiting to be cast off for over a year:

Baby blanket for a friend (it's about the size of a lap quilt and I only used 1 and a half skeins)

Another hat that has been appropriated by my fiance (you can practically see him gloating in the picture):

That's what I've been up to the past few months! Unfortunately, I just bought 3 more skeins of yarn to use for Christmas presents for friends, but it's not my fault my stash didn't have the exact colors I needed  Cheesy

I received the CUTEST necklace from I Sew Cute yesterday!

It's a sparkly cat and pumpkin necklace! I wore it to work today and got so many compliments on it! Thank you so much!

With football and friends having babies, my stash is slowly getting smaller!

Here are some baby hats that finished off 3 half skeins. I have a feeling I will be making more of these. So easy!

And here is an adult hat:

I'm also working on a baby blanket. I will probably have enough yarn to make 2, but we will see.
