1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Go to church or the devil will get you! on: November 03, 2009 08:20:23 PM
i think if you wanted to add an exclamation you should put it underneath the last word, not right after, to keep with the heart shape. but it's awesome as it is! that sign is crazy, it would never go up where i live lol. i'd love to see the other ones people are talking about.

6  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Metal-like Tags w/ Leaf Motif on: June 16, 2009 12:30:15 PM
Thank you for all the ideas!

there are around 12 or so and i really have no idea of what they are made, they do make noise when hit together like metal, but they can be snapped in half far too easy to be metal, i think... I might look into using them for a lampshade trim, that sounds cool. I will make sure to post whenever I do get around to something!
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / A Much Better Sweater ... Goodbye UGLY embroidery on: June 15, 2009 11:12:01 AM
Started with this sweater, though the colour was great, the embroidery not so much. I ripped it out before thinking to take a photo, but I'm sure you've had the unfortunate chance of seeing something similar.

Anyways here is the sweater once I've ripped it all out. There were a lot of holes, some actual rips from the process, so I decided to cover it in a fabric I found a long time ago at a thriftstore.
I think it's pretty cool, too bad it's sweltering now. ooh well.

Tada! Wink
8  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Metal-like Tags w/ Leaf Motif on: June 15, 2009 11:04:46 AM
Not long ago I was setting up a reception for a friend's wedding. The candle centrepieces came with these tags around the candles on string. I set them aside figuring I could do something with them. The only notion I have had yet is something with scrapbooking. But I don't scrapbook, and don't intend on it. So I'm hoping someone will have a brilliant idea?

Thx! Cheesy
