1  Upcycled Kitchen Towels in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by talti on: May 29, 2011 03:22:55 PM
I had only a few hours before holiday dinner to prepare a gift for my grandma. So I ran to the store and got 2 simple kitchen towels. Then added some fabric and lace, and 20 minutes later, I had a gift!
That's the before:

And the after:

Tutorial can be found on my blog.

I've made them for my girl's 3rd b-day. I used the tutorial found here (http://lbbspassion.blogspot.com/2008/11/felt-woven-picnic-basket.html) for the basket. I will (hopefully, when I have some time...) upload a tutorial for the food on my blog soon.

6  New here - ceramic sculpture in Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects by talti on: February 13, 2011 10:10:03 AM
I'm quite new to pottery and ceramic (a year or so) and this is my first sculpture. My inspiration was a sculpture I saw in a yard sale, but I just can't remember the name of the artist...  Embarrassed
Since I'm new to the forum, I can't post the pictures directly, but you can take a look here:
